Retired professional dominant, Rebecca Wilcox, shares the knowledge of six years of experience as a dominatrix, five years of training in San Francisco and countless play partners over 10 years as an educator, presenter, performer and life/relationship coach utilizing her personal and professional background.

A graduate and instructor from the National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy and Health Education and trained in somatic therapies at the California Institute for Integral Studies, Rebecca Wilcox or Madam W, brings together her holistic training, knowledge of the body, and kink to deepening individuals and couples experience in all it is that we do in the BDSM/Kink and Fetish world.

Her approach to kink is based on looking at the experience of all it is to be human including mind, body, emotions and soul.

She begins with the assumption that all we need to know we carry inside of us.

Through accessing this knowledge through proven techniques we can find our way to healthy BDSM and formulate healthy sexual orientation and relationships.

Rebecca says

My forte is body mind emotional integration whether that is for living a fuller life or integrating BDSM needs with one’s self concept. I believe that integration is key to living abundantly. In my own life BDSM brought peace and contentment with fuller knowledge of who I am.

I discovered through my somatic psychotherapy training at the California Institute for Integral Studies that the body does not lie. It tells us exactly where we are and how to fix it. BDSM can assist in that process. Sometimes the messages are confusing as the mind tries to sort it out.

However, I strongly believe that we have our own answers within us. Not only do we have that confirmation from science/psychology, but it is also grounded in ancient traditions. This place of looking at the whole person within his or her context is the place I come from in all my educational and coaching that I do.

Of course I have my opinions on how to do certain techniques safely. However, it is each person’s responsibility to choose how much risk to take.

BDSM/Kink/Fetish can be a part of a healthy lifestyle. Each person needs to find their way AND each of us needs to be seen and accepted.

Support along the way makes all the difference. I am here to be that support. I have strong training and experience in the techniques, skills and art of all that it is that we do. Of course there are stronger areas than others as a “Jill of all trades.” Perhaps the strongest point based on my leadership training, Eastern philosophy and ethics education is the ability to structure safe space.
